Our Management Team
Founder & Non-Executive Director
David is the Founder, Owner and Non-Executive Director of Financial Software Ltd. Based in Dubai, he monitors the international trends and their effect on the financial services industry, evolving standards and regulations, new technologies and client expectations. This research provides guidance for FSL’s business strategy and the products and services designed and provided to customers.
David is a technology advisor to a MENA private equity fund and has private equity investment interests in UK, European and Middle Eastern technology companies.
Ken joined FSL as Managing Director in 2014 and has over 50 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He is a senior executive with a record of successfully leading significant global business and technology initiatives in the industry.
Before he joined FSL he was Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer for Technology at Nomura. Prior to that he spent 8 years at Lehman Brothers, where he had several senior roles including European Chief Administrative Officer for European Technology and Global Chief Administrative Officer for Global Technology Services.
Ian’s role involves engaging with both existing and potential clients to facilitate the development of their service requirements through the application of FSL’s servicing and software capabilities.
Employed at FSL since 2014, Ian has previously worked for a variety of consultancy and financial service companies including a major international investment bank where he ran the team supporting the back-office servicing operation. With over 30 years commercial exposure, Ian also has extensive experience of platform and organisational change delivery built upon his early career of developing applications and systems.
Finance & Human Resources
Zuzana joined FSL as the Finance & HR Manager in 2013 and became Company Secretary for FSL and Investment IT Group Ltd in 2014. She has over 20 years of experience in accountancy and HR, as well as an excellent understanding of compliance.
From 2009 to 2013, Zuzana worked in the private healthcare sector assisting with the acquisition of Harmoni by Care UK. Acting as H&S and Compliance Lead Officer across Surrey and West Sussex, she successfully established high standards and procedures to comply with Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Prior to 2009, Zuzana held various roles in IFA, Property and other sectors.
Business Analysis & Application Support
Michael leads the Business Analysis function and is the Product Owner for FSL’s core CGT reporting tool CGiX.
Since joining FSL in 2015, he has established a new dedicated Application Support function within the Business Analyst team. The specific focus of this team is on our SAAS and Bureau clients.
Michael continues to drive through our goal of continual improvement drawing on his 9 years previous experience working at Atos Origin and Unisys.
Infrastructure & Support
Joe has worked at FSL since 2007 and is the Head of Infrastructure.
In 2017, Joe lead the migration of FSL’s infrastructure allowing FSL to further enhance the security, availability and performance of its enterprise application suite. A key element of the migration was the deployment of a tailored Intrusion Protection System (IPS) with threat-detection policies designed to improve security effectiveness.
Prior to joining FSL, Joe was at Brewin Dolphin where he worked on the implementation of a portfolio management front office solution for wealth managers in 29 offices across the UK.
Craig joined FSL as the Development Manager in 2016. Using his extensive software management experience, Craig has implemented a successful agile approach to software development, enabling products to be developed and enhanced effectively. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the software industry with over 10 years in management roles.
His career has been divided between the financial and defence sectors. Technology experience is primarily in the Microsoft stack in both sectors. Craig has championed agile development methodologies and successfully introduced the approach in several organisations.
Data & Consultancy
Preya joined FSL in 2003 and has been the Data Manager since 2005. She manages the securities and corporate actions data required for CGiX to be able to provide accurate calculations and the Data Consultancy arm of the business.
She has over 20 years’ experience in the finance industry with a solid understanding of financial securities data. Prior to FSL, Preya worked in the pensions & insurance sector where she gained skills in data research and management.
Preya is a graduate in International Finance and has a Certificate in Investments which she passed while at FSL.
Research & Strategy
Andrea joined FSL in 2018 after a career that spans Central Government, Diamonds and Insurance and over 20 years’ experience in data analysis and market research. She has spent the past 15 years focused on helping leading insurance companies develop insight on their customers, competitors and the market in order to develop their business strategies and targeted propositions.
Andrea leads the newly created Research & Strategy Team and has been working with FSL’s customers to understand their needs. Her work drives FSL’s strategy development and helps to place the customer at the centre of decision making.
