JP Morgan Corporate Challenge 2017
The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is a one of a kind road race series taking place in 13 cities, in 7 countries, across 5 continents. It is a 3.5 mile (5.6km) race that is a global celebration of teamwork, camaraderie and community, providing an opportunity to connect with clients and corporate neighbours.
Financial Software Ltd, taking part for the 4th consecutive year, competed against 28,000 participants from 733 companies who raced at Battersea Park, London in early July. FSL’s members Zuzana Chroma and Ben Hart, who have completed the race in previous years, were joined by FSL’s latest employee and fitness enthusiast, Florin Ivanciu. Florin commented: ‘It was a great pleasure to participate in the 2017 Challenge and run together with so many people for the benefit of a good cause. Although I did not have any running experience, the satisfaction after the race was an extraordinary feeling and I can’t wait to run again next year.’
JP Morgan donated the proceeds from this year’s race to Cancer Research UK. The national charity funds over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses who work to save more lives by preventing cancer, diagnosing it earlier and developing new and kinder treatments. Cancer Research UK’s work has led to some of the biggest breakthroughs in cancer treatments, such as advances in chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
Well done Zuzana and Ben for beating your personal best in this year’s race. FSL is looking forward to participating again in 2018 JP Morgan Corporate Challenge.
