The other consistent theme is ESG, this was highlighted in January at Davos and through the World Economic Forum’s Global Risk Report 2020. This year, for the first time, the top 5 global risks in terms of likelihood were all environmental. ESG-themed news continues:
- Nasdaq has launched an ESG reporting platform to simplify the corporate sustainability reporting process for public companies.
- There is increased levels of paperwork needed from asset managers offering ESG.
- The ESG data provider MSCI also published principles for the industry to adopt in order to improve their ESG integration methods for future investments.
