November 2014 - Bekoji town is several hours drive south from Addis Ababa in the lush Ethiopian highlands. A Chinese built road runs through the town, the donkeys, horses and carts more suited to the unpaved side streets that are lined with simple built shacks or timber framed mud houses.
October 2014 – As part of the restructure of FSL the management decided to change how we contributed to society through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Previous CSR activities involved giving cash donations to various charitable organisations, unnoticed by the staff and with little follow up as to the real social effect of these donations.
Great to see the FSL sponsored classroom and teacher fully utilised and adding great value to the local community!

One of the most extraordinary contradictions of expectation is of how beautifully green and lush the Ethiopian countryside is. It continually varies as you travel through the mountains, hills and valleys, the vibrant greens of the farmlands to the wild flowers of the highland peaks.
