Overview
Bureau Service
FSL provides a CGT Bureau Service for individuals, corporations and for investment firms in order to offer their clients a complete CGT service. The Bureau Service is provided through CGiX, and our dedicated CGT Team.
The Bureau Service involves FSL fully managing the CGT aspect of clients' portfolios; Clients provide FSL with equity transaction history that is imported, processed and reconciled by CGiX and our CGT Team. Portfolios are generated and a monthly report pack is produced. In addition, clients are provided with the option to dial-in to CGiX to utilise the front-office 'What If' modeling tool and print reports themselves, as and when they are required.
Typically the Bureau Service has been adopted by smaller investment banks or boutique investment houses who understand that the total CGT portfolio management we offer is the most efficient, effective solution to their CGT needs.
Application Service Provider (ASP)
The ASP model operated by FSL enables clients to outsource the operational management of the CGiX solution. This model serves to address the business requirements of both large and small companies alike, as this can be used as a standalone CGT ASP, or in conjunction with our partners as part of a complete outsource strategy.
Clients are able to manage their own portfolios, utilise the front-office modelling tool and access annual and ad-hoc CGT reports when adopting our ASP model; all the benefits of the CGiX solution and our expert support without the overhead of hosting the system.
Both services utilise our in-house securities taxation and corporate event databases to ensure that portfolios CGT positions are generated efficiently and accurately.
